the reception staff and restaurant staff were attentive to every need. the room provided a peaceful view and allowed for immediate relaxation. i took a walk around the grounds and was impressed by the italianate garden. i had the best night's sleep as well.

i found the location perfect in beautiful parkland. the bedroom featured stylish decor and easily adjustable heating. the a la carte menu was available even late, a great convenience. the swimming pool offered the perfect combination, depth, temperature, and overall ambiance..
i noticed a slight wait for evening food after i placed my order. this was a minor inconvenience, but something to note.

I appreciated the staff's friendliness. I also enjoyed the great overlap with the National Trust. Cycle tours of the grounds were available, as was a tour of servant quarters.
I noticed there was no fridge in the room to store any snacks , , made things tricky.
